In 2014, after working for several firms in various capacities, Jonathan started The Law Office of Jonathan J. Moon to provide a more personal, dedicated service for his clients.  Since then, he has continued fighting for employee rights, creating a network of experts and attorneys to collaborate and prosecute cases for the maximum benefit of his Clients. 

 

Jonathan practices in all aspects of employment and labor law, representing employees in prosecuting both private sector and public entity employers.  His focus is in pursuing wrongful termination, discrimination claims under FEHA, as well as wage and hour claims, and whistleblower retaliation claims.

Jonathan is experienced in both civil litigation and arbitration, and is admitted to practice in all Courts of the State of California, as well as the the United States District Court for Central, Eastern and Southern Districts of California.

Jonathan received his Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern Law School.  While at Southwestern Law School, Jonathan worked as an extern at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Elder Abuse Section.  Jonathan received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles where he majored in History and minored in Philosophy. He is currently a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA).  He is a native speaker of Korean.

Jonathan enjoys playing soccer, serving two terms as the captain of the local soccer team, Chicken Fighters, F.C., based in Diamond Bar, California.  His position is center back and center defense middle fielder.  Jonathan also enjoys cooking for his two children whenever he can.
