Brandon J. Sweeney, Esq.

Brandon Sweeney serves as Of Counsel to The Law Office of Jonathan J. Moon.  Mr. Sweeney practices in the areas of Employment Law, representing employees in prosecuting both private sector and public entity litigation.

 

Mr. Sweeney began his legal career as an associate at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP.  He then worked at a boutique plaintiff’s firm where he represented employees, handling cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment and wage and hour violations.  Mr. Sweeney has successfully handled a number of mediations and arbitrations to six-figure settlements.  He has also handled a number of jury and bench trials, and participated in dozens more with co-counsel.

 

Mr. Sweeney received his Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern School of Law. While at Southwestern, Mr. Sweeney served as editor of The Southwestern Law Journal.  Mr. Sweeney received his Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University of Northridge, where he studied Political Science.

 

Mr. Sweeney is admitted to practice law in the state of California the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.  He is currently a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA) and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA).
